Job Overview
The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Training Professional is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering various training programs across the organization. This includes creating and implementing comprehensive training curricula that align with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and deliver high-quality training programs to educate employees on regulations, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with multi-state and federal regulations to ensure accurate and compliant training materials.
- Champion a culture of safety excellence and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Cultivate effective relationships with employees, contractors, and vendors to promote a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive training programs, including new hire orientation and competency-based training.
- Coordinate and conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, certifications, and compliance data.
- Assist in updating and revising organizational policies and procedures to reflect changing regulatory requirements.
- Promote a culture of transparency and open communication to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in EHS training, auditing, and compliance.
- Fluency in Spanish required; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
