Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, is currently looking to hire a Maintenance Manager for our Fort Worth, TX plant. In this role, the Maintenance Manager will supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in setting-up, installing, repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment and fabricating metal parts and tools.

What You’ll Do
- Monitor and control Maintenance Department operating, staffing and maintenance costs within established budget and guidelines
- Plan and manage the maintenance department work schedule to ensure there is effective support across all shifts in a 24/7 operation.
- Coordinate procedures, equipment maintenance priorities, repair and installation work on a regular basis in conjunction with Production Supervisors and Production Manager
- Analyze and estimate cost on various maintenance and repair projects
- Prepare capital investment requests and justifications
- Ensure all department objectives are in compliance with Arcosa’s policies and all safety, health and environmental government regulations are followed
- Prepare and conduct performance appraisals and evaluations for direct reports according to Company guidelines
- Initiate requisitions of all shop supplies and repair parts
- Coordinate with Safety Manager, Production Manager, Production Supervisors and Plant Manager the implementation of safety procedures and ensure equipment safety
- Develop and maintain a Preventative Maintenance Program using the Upkeep reliability system
- Implement and maintain necessary departmental procedures and records for efficient operations.
- Ensure record keeping accuracy of all logs for maintenance of cranes, mobile equipment and any other procedures or equipment records OSHA requires
- Assist and direct workers in dismantling, assembling and installing industrial machinery
- Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product
- Perform root cause analysis and FMEA to reduce breakdown frequency
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent maintenance experience desired
- Minimum 7 years related work experience in manufacturing environment
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations
- Basic computer skills required
- Must be able to prepare presentations for safety meetings, safety training and any other training beneficial to employees in achieving safety, and skills attainment goals
