Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Environmental Safety Specialist to join our team in Ashland City, TN.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and leading various training programs, including EHS protocols, policies, and procedures, as well as new hire orientation.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on regulations, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Stay current with multi-state regulations and federal regulations to ensure training material is up-to-date and accurate.
- Champion safety culture change and growth within the organization.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to positively interact with employees, vendors, and customers.
- Bilingual (reading and writing) in Spanish required.
- Associates degree in Environmental, Health and Safety or similar field preferred.
- At least two years of safety and training experience, preferably in a shipyard/maritime environment.
Responsibilities
This role will involve:
- Developing and delivering training programs.
- Conducting regular safety audits and inspections.
- Maintaining accurate records of employee training and certifications.
