Arcosa Lightweight is searching for a Mobile Equipment Operator for our Frazier Park, CA plant. In this role you will support a positive safety culture, activities and staff within a 24/7 aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards.
As a Mobile Equipment Operator you will operate a variety of mobile equipment or yard vehicles in order to move materials and products.

As a Mobile Equipment Operator you will operate a variety of mobile equipment or yard vehicles in order to move materials and products.

What You'll Do
- Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations
- Operate at least 2 pieces of mobile equipment in quarry or production, such as haul truck, farm tractor, water truck, rubber tier backhoe, front end loader, lift truck, crane, track mobile, driller/auger, excavator
- Move materials and products between work stations and/or receiving and storage locations
- Perform dispatch duties
- Keep truck scale and load out areas clean
- Ensure proper identification of parts and materials
- Provide updates to crusher operator on current bin status and material quality
- Cross-train on other positions in plant as necessary
- Attend safety committees or initiatives as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
- The ability to frequently stand, stoop, bend, climb stairs, and reach around equipment to make adjustments and repairs
- Ability to sit and work for up to 12 hours per day, and lift weights up to 60 pounds
- Minimum of 1 year equipment operating experience, preferred
- Manual dexterity to use small hand tools and power tools for minor repairs and adjustments
- The ability to work in a varied outdoor environment (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
- Willingness and ability to work some weekends and evenings
- $20.78 - $22.05 / hour
- Production bonus eligible
