What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Administrator position at Arcosa Inc.?
Meyer Utility Structures is currently looking to hire a Project Administrator for our office located in Memphis, TN or Ft. Worth, TX. The Project Administrator performs pre-sales and post-sales service functions including but not limited to; entering incoming quotes/bids into shared databases, assisting Project Managers as needed in developing quotes, setting up orders in Meyer Utility Structure’s ERP system, working with internal departments and manufacturing plants to process project changes, and supporting additional tasks as directed by the Value Stream Project Manager.

What You’ll Do
- Handle a variety of pre-sales and post-sales service functions.
- Work as liaison between various internal and external functions
- Enter and track incoming quotes, addendum to quotes and orders on a shared database and excel spreadsheet
- Assist Project Manager to obtain signatures on various forms like bid bonds, T&C’s, contract summary form etc.
- Respond to and provide assistance to internal customers design and drawing approval process, change order management or customer service requests
- Work with the Engineering department and Project Manager to obtain approval on design calculations
- Work with the Modeling department and Project Manager to obtain approval on drawing packages
- Work with the Sales department and the plant to meet customer expectations
- Use judgment with defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
- Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors
- Assist in the development and transmittal of shop orders and bills of materials
- Assist VS PM with expedited delivery requests for strategic opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of three years’ technical customer account administration
- Experience with quotations activity in manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
