Arcosa is seeking a Data Intern in our Dallas, TX headquarters. As a Data Intern you will develop processes, reports, services, documentation or scientific applications using broad engineering concepts and research techniques.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work on assigned projects with the close supervision of mentor/supervisor/team member
Maintain, support, and enhance the business intelligence data backend, including data lakes and data warehouses
Creating and maintaining documentation that includes the design, requirements and user manuals for the organization
Write TSQL scripts and objects such as stored procedures, user-defined functions, views, indexes per business requirements
Deliver epics, user stories, mockups, and workflows for new and improving functionality
Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques
Perform additional ad-hoc data exploration projects
Highly energetic with ability to work independently and with minimal direction
Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be actively pursuing a bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in operations research, manufacturing, supply chain or related engineering discipline
Must be creative, analytical, and have strong problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, SQL, Python as well as possessing Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot table, advanced formulas)
Experience in a construction or a mining company is a plus
Experience in a manufacturing company is a plus
Design and develop products using engineering fundamentals
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Must be organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and evaluate priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality
