What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resort Support Staff position at ARCTARIS SADDLEBACK SKI OPERATIONS LLC?
For Summer/Fall 2025.
Tasks include parking lot attendants, grounds maintenance, lodge attendants, and condominium attendants.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Keeping walkways and entrances of the base lodge clean and easily accessible.
- Clean and maintain lodge areas, public area bathrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Empty and clean all waste receptacles and transport waste to dumpsters.
- Vacuum, sweep, and scrub floors as necessary.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety issues immediately to the supervisor.
- Ensure cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.
- Wash windows.
- Assisting guests with parking and maintaining order in the parking areas.
- Direct guests to the appropriate parking locations in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist guests by answering questions, helping load/unload gear, and finding their car if necessary.
- Mark off parking lots when they are full.
- Assist with trash removal as necessary.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Organizational and detail-orientated skills.
- Great attitude and ability to communicate with guests when necessary.
- Understand, follow safety procedures, and dispose of hazardous waste properly.
- Safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Must be able to exert a moderate level of activity to complete tasks.
Physical Demands:
- Stand, sit, and walk; talk and hear; taste and smell; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to withstand and work in harsh outside weather conditions.
- Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; highly precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; explosives; and vibration.
- Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- Physical ability to bend and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Standing and walking for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
