Job Summary : The Solar Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of solar energy projects in the US. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in project management, renewable energy systems, and construction processes to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop comprehensive project plans for solar tracker installation in concentrated solar projects, outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impacts
- Proactively address challenges to ensure successful project completion
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines are met and quality standards are exceeded
- Conduct regular performance reviews of solar tracking systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary upgrades
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including manuals, schematics, and maintenance procedures
- Provide technical support and training to customers and internal staff
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to ensure company's competitive edge
