What You’ll Do
As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing tailored sales strategies, navigating complex sales cycles, and identifying new business opportunities. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth while building strong relationships within the municipal fire sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Execution & Results – Develop and implement high-impact sales strategies that address customer needs while driving long-term revenue growth.
- Move with Urgency & Speed – Identify and pursue high-value sales opportunities, with small contracts starting at Twenty-Five to Thirty thousand dollars and larger municipal contracts offering significant earning potential.
- Show Initiative & Be Resourceful – Proactively engage customers, demonstrating the value of our products as long-term capital assets.
- Be a Trusted Advisor – Build strong relationships within the municipal fire sector, becoming the go-to problem solver by understanding and addressing specific customer concerns.
- Leverage Technology for Success – Use CRM tools to track sales activities, enhance communication, and collaborate with internal teams to close deals faster.
- Think Innovatively & Independently – Identify gaps in competitor offerings and position Arctic Compressor’s solutions as the superior choice.
- Strategically Engage the Market – Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking meetings to maximize customer interactions and drive revenue growth.
- Navigate Complex Sales Cycles – Understand that many customers are making their first compressor purchase, requiring a consultative, strategic approach.
What You Bring
- Proven track record in technical sales, particularly with high-value, long-cycle equipment.
- Strong technical aptitude combined with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Mechanical knowledge is beneficial; experience in firefighting or fire equipment sales is a plus but not required.
- Experience selling to state, local, and government agencies is highly valued.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and modern office software to track and optimize sales efforts.
- Willingness to travel 50-75% of the time as needed to drive sales and close deals.
