What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Lead position at Arctic Slope Native Association LTD?
Summary:
Maintain Arctic Slope Native Association’s real property holdings; manage the preventative maintenance program for all leased housing and warehouse units, rolling stock, and stationary equipment; facilitate move-in, move-out, transfers, inspections, and service requests.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain facility equipment and leased housing and warehouse space.
- Repair and provide preventative facility and equipment maintenance.
- Purchase and expedite all requested items for Construction, Facilities, Housing, and Motor pool items requested via Maximo and email for operations support.
- Coordinate receiving/consolidating for all goods coming into Barrow including developing working relationships with vendors.
- Provide information on refurbishing and replacement data on rolling stock including coordination, cost estimates and review of services performed.
- Perform upkeep and cleaning of the warehouse area.
- Identify and prescribe maintenance work required for housing units to meet quality standards.
- Maintain maintenance and warranty records; coordinate repair, maintenance and replacement of ASNA property.
- Prepare work orders for necessary repairs; works with contractors to ensure work is timely and compliant with federal regulations.
- Process move-in, move-out, transfers, inspections, and service requests.
- Provide information on refurbishing and replacement data on stationary equipment and real property including coordination, cost estimates and review of services performed.
- Strictly adhere to safety procedures and attend training sessions as required.
- Maintain and update annual inventory records of ASNA property: ensure that new property is properly recorded and tagged.
- Facilitate disposal of surplus equipment, ensuring that ASNA policies and procedures have been followed.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Two years of mechanical trade experience or technical school required. Two years of maintenance service and operations required.
- Prior experience in Hospital maintenance and operations, preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
- Valid Alaska Driver’s License that meets ASNA insurance criteria within ninety (90) days of hire.
