ASSURANCE MANAGER - ASRC TALENT SOLUTIONS
JOB SUMMARY
The primary objectives of the Assurance Manager are to deliver leadership, processes and support for Asset Development, Project Delivery, Project Assurance (Quality, Project and Technical), Completions Management and for the Alaska BU. This role will help ensure that quality systems are in place to guarantee the Pikka Facilities are designed, constructed, and commissioned in a manner that is safe to operate and is fit for purpose and reliable over the defined service life.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Manage Quality Management Systems for the Alaska BU, including risk-based criteria and evaluation for construction contractors, and purchased materials (major equipment suppliers, tagged item suppliers and bulk material suppliers).
- Provide project and technical assurance for the Alaska BU.
- Support completions management for the Alaska BU.
- Ensure compliance with the Client's Project Delivery Process (PDP), Management System (SMS), Delegation of Authority (DOA), and corporate governance and safety requirements.
- Implement an ongoing engagement program to build and maintain a strong safety, quality and risk awareness culture across the project teams.
- Monitor working practices and other lead indicators to allow proactive adjustment of the Alaska BU quality program.
- Manage contracts for third party inspection services for sites and procured items to ensure project specifications are maintained.
- Assist with the evaluation of contractors (and their subcontractors if required) to ensure that they have the capabilities and experience to meet the requirements specified by the Alaka BU.
- Recommend a course of action on Quality performance of contractors.
- Ensure that the quality and certification requirements for procured items of material and equipment are being applied in accordance with their risk and critical level.
- Ensure that detailed inspection programs and third-party assessment of critical items are maintained during fabrication and that close control is maintained for procurement processes in accordance with project quality and procurement plans.
- Offer technical assistance where required, particularly related to quality and technical requirements for purchased material.
- Provide guidance to contractors and assist with response to technical queries (TQ's / RFI's).
- Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
- Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.

WORKING ON THE NORTH SLOPE
While working on the North Slope of Alaska, your lodging and food will be provided to you. All camps provide warm meals and options to grab a quick lunch or snack from the spike rooms. Rooms vary from single status to shared rooms where your roommate may work the opposite shift. Wi-Fi and Internet is free and available within the camp. Services vary depending upon where you are staying; however, most facilities offer housekeeping, self-serve laundry, commissary, mail, gyms, TV / Theater Room, etc. Each facility will have their own accommodations and policies that will be reviewed upon on-site orientation.
