We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with a strong emphasis on system administration and business analysis. The ideal candidate will not only excel in managing, maintaining, and optimizing database systems but also possess the ability to consult and collaborate with internal stakeholders, including application development, data analytics, and data integration teams. This hybrid role combines technical expertise with business acumen to support the organization's data-driven initiatives and IT infrastructure.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES (and other duties as assigned)
- Database Administration :
Design, implement, and maintain database systems to ensure high performance, security, and reliability.
Manage and maintain on-premises database instances and servers and related infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and minimal downtime.
Act as a liaison between IT, business teams, and in some cases customers to understand data analytics needs, application requirements, pain points, and data integration needs.
Collaborate with application development teams to ensure database alignment with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
Partner with stakeholders to develop data governance standards and best practices.
