About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Ironworker/Rigger to join our team on the North Slope of Alaska. This is a temporary project-based position that requires a minimum of five years of experience working in the industry.
Job Responsibilities:
• Erect, raise, join, and place structural components of members to form completed structures or structural framework.
• Set up hoisting equipment for raising and placing structural members, rig members with chokers, straps or cables for safe lifting and positioning by cranes or other devices.
• Proper use and care of tools and equipment commonly employed in industrial construction such as: air tools, torque wrenches, cutting torches, chain hoists and come-alongs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License issued within the U.S required.
• Minimum of five years' experience working as an Ironworker/Rigger required.
• Certified or extensive welding experience required.
• Previous experience operating various construction equipment required.
• Previous experience using power tools required.
