What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Manufacturing Accountant position at Arctic Snow and Ice Control?
Arctic Snow and Ice is looking for an Accountant that will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company and providing financial guidance to management. They will prepare and analyze financial statements, budget, forecast, and manage the company's accounts payable and receivable.
Responsibilities :
- Comfortable using ERP accounting modules, Epicor is preferable
- Maintain costing of future and current product lines
Manage the financial operations of the company, coordinate with sister company for accounting when necessary
Prepare and analyze financial statements
Budgeting, forecasting, internal control, and month-end close
Oversee accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and inventory
Implement and maintain financial systems and procedures
Ensure compliance with GAAP and local, state, and federal regulations
Work with management and operations teams to provide financial guidance and support
Report to upper management on financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in accounting and finance, with experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
Proficient in financial analysis and budgeting
Process expense reports and reimbursements
Good communication and teamwork skills
Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
CPA certification is a plus
