Arctic Tails DOG DAYCARE AND BOARDING is hiring!
Staff are expected to be active (standing, moving) all day (~6hours) working with MANY DOGS (40 ) of all breeds (Pitbulls/Shepherds, Huskies) and sizes.
RESPONSIBILIITES
Throughout the day staff are supervising dogs & correcting behavior, going outside every hour for 15minutes, picking up lots of poop/mopping lots of pee, and CLEANING! You are providing structure, support, discipline, and exercise for peoples’ dogs (kids nowadays).
EXPECTATIONS
Staff are expected to be on time, mentally and physically present, and PATIENT! Staff are on their feet correcting behavior all day. Activities run from 9am-3pm so staff must all be conscious of time.
ON TIME IS: clocking in early to be in the pack by the start of their shift.
Expect to be PICKING UP POOP/PUKE/GROSS THINGS AND TO BE SLOBBERED/PEED/THROWN UP ON!
Everyone must learn dog body language, how to correct behavior, how to prevent/break up fights; YOU MUST BE RECEPTIVE AND WILLING TO LEARN!
IF YOU HAVE WORKED IN A DOG DAYCARE BEFORE AND HAVE DIRECT EXPERIENCE, PLEASE FILL OUT DOG DAYCARE (W/ EXP)
All staff start at $15/hr. After training is completed & staff are proficient wage is $16/hr.
