ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Communication between the Air Force Functional owners and process management personnel to understand their data analytic needs and convert those requirements into executable requirement for Business Intelligence Developers.
- Work with a team of developers who are responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining Qlik and Tableau dashboards, reports, and data models.
- Build working relationships with project managers, United States Air Force (USAF) Logistics personnel and to help solve business process challenges with data visualizations, dashboards, reports, analytics and modeling techniques.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes with your functional representatives and offer alternative points of view and suggestions for alternative methods for solving data visualization needs and operational reporting.
- Gather and analyze data for potential business expansion for better understanding of Air Force Logistics
- Identify specific business opportunities to improve knowledge and understanding of Air Force Logistics processes.
- Influence stakeholders to support incremental delivery of requirements, as necessary and accept/promote business process changes.
- Assist with project management (Product Owners, Project Managers) as needed for delivery, strategic communications and identification of roadblocks and mitigation activities
- Coordinate with different departmental teams to improve understanding of what is being delivered - Test business processes and recommend improvements.
- Convert roadmap features into smaller user stories.
- Write clear and well-structured business requirements and documentation.
- Identify automation opportunities.
- Create reports, dashboards and visualizations to help others understand business performance.
- Analyze process issues and bottlenecks to make improvements.
- Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders. - Develop and maintain reporting tools.
- Perform data discovery, analysis and modeling.
- Collaborate with product managers on roadmap planning and workforce optimization.
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

- Must be US Citizen
- Experience working Information Technology projects where your role was to understand user requirements, needs, desires and help translate to working with developers. This can include development of Business Requirements Documents, Functional Specification Documents or creating user stories from use cases.
- Working experience on implementing and promoting large Programs servicing a diverse and large stakeholder base.
- Bachelor's degree
- Must have or be able to attain a SECRET security clearance.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job is performed in an office setting & telework environment with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.
