SUMMARY Arcticom, LLC, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Junior Field Support Specialist for the Ground Based Air Defense Engineering and Logistics (GBAD E&L) Contract at Quantico, VA. As a Field Support Specialist, you will be expected to assist the field engineers during demonstration, testing, and training events for the GBAD E&L project. Position will need to secure, setup, maintain, provide security, and tear down test and training sites. Support test and engineering events with Test Incident Reports (TIRs) and participate in Test Review Boards (TRBs) as required. QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications (applies to both this section and KSAO’s) - Must be fluent with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams and MS Project - Licensed driver able to load, unload, drive, and transport government owned, tactical vehicles (Joint Light Tactical Vehicle, HMMWVs, ULTV) - 2 years’ experience in a related field - High School Diploma or equivalent Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics - This position requires an Active SECRET security clearance. Preferred - Related maintenance, operator, handling certification(s) NECESSARY PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions (heat more than 95 degrees). DOT COVERED/SAFETY-SENSITIVE ROLE REQUIREMENTS - This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation “safety-sensitive” functions.
