REQUIREMENT
ARCTOS is actively seeking a Scientist / Engineer I to join our growing Biotechnology Programs team. As a member of the team, you'll play a crucial role in technology development across a number of chem-bio and civil engineering contract research agendas. You'll have the opportunity to work on cutting edge technology development at high TRLs, working closely with government and client groups to produce key data packages and system prototypes to forward technologies towards adoption and application.
In this role, you'll apply your knowledge and skills within a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, design, and execute experiments across various contract efforts (with focus on novel cementious materials and fibers / textiles) across scales (lab, pilot, and field tests)
- Develop and adapt testing methodologies to support novel material testing requirements
- Prepare experimental data package readouts for contract reporting requirements
- Support system prototyping efforts for field deployment systems and operationalization
- Support field testing / demonstration activities
- Coordinate and collaborate with contract partners, academic institutions, contract research organizations and manufactures to successfully complete contract objectives
