Responsibilities for manufacturing operations manager
· Analyze production labor requirements, implementing appropriate capacity decisions within COE budget
· Promote safety and ensure teams compliance with all safety and environmental rules, policies and procedures
· Implement and lead the Lean Culture within the plant to maximize employee contributions and drive improvements in product quality and process efficiency with continuous yield improvements
· Generate operating rhythm and drive communication and recognition at all levels in the plant to be consistent with the business strategy
· Work with individuals at all levels of the organization to motivate for results
· Support development of team oriented approaches to problem solving
· Actively participate in budgeting and forecasting for production planning
· Work with customers, functional leaders, and internal staff to meet organizational requirements
· Launch and introduce new products into the manufacturing process and aid in make VS buy decisions
· Maximize output of products with current facility equipment, while helping the organization move into new categories and the analysis needed to do so successfully
Qualifications for manufacturing operations manager
· Create and sustain a continuous improvement environment
· Gain appropriate and necessary outside resources to ensure the annual business plan and planned projects are realized, budget implementation
· Drive Operational Excellence, Lean tools, best practices and continuous improvement
· Strong experience in a shop leadership position
· Ability and desire to become a Plant Manager or General Manager in 12-24 months
· BS in Engineering, Operations Management, or closely related field
· Passion for hunting / Fishing / and the outdoors is a plus
· Position reports directly to the President

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
