We are seeking a skilled Control Panel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and maintenance of control panels in various industrial settings. The Control Panel Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that our systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire control panels according to specifications and schematics.
- Perform installation and maintenance of control panels in industrial environments.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues related to control systems.
- Collaborate with engineers to design and modify control panel layouts using AutoCAD.
- Conduct testing on distributed control systems and logic controllers to ensure proper functionality.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including wiring diagrams and service reports.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working with high voltage equipment.
Skills
- Proficient in working with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems.
- Strong background in industrial maintenance practices.
- Experience with AutoCAD for designing control panel layouts is preferred.
- Familiarity with distributed control systems and logic controllers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to detect and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
