Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in maintenance. This role is essential for ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained, safe, and efficient. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all equipment operates smoothly.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on mechanical systems and electrical systems.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in the repair of complex systems.
- Supervise maintenance staff when required, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Maintenance Management System
- Execute welding tasks for structural repairs or modifications as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Familiarity with using an ohmmeter and interpreting schematics.
- Experience in residential painting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
- Ability to operate CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities.
- Welding skills are advantageous for performing repairs on various materials.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
