Job Summary
The Field Training Specialist is responsible for facilitating, designing and developing training to enhance the effectiveness of our staff. The Field Training Specialist will assess training needs that will drive the training methods to ensure consistent performance between individual inspectors, individual clients, and individual markets. This position will document and maintain the knowledge base of operating procedures for the division and create instructional guides as needed to supplement the training program. The Trainer will be responsible for delivering training to all new and existing employees in person and may include e-learning, and self-directed learning. The Trainer will be responsible for auditing the training for accuracy and revision on a quarterly basis and creating a schedule for internal review with the Training Director. The Trainer will review risk assessments for determination of accuracy and/or next steps for the trainees and sign off on a trainee when they are ready. The trainer will also be responsible for maintaining a repository of all training material. Additionally, the trainer will develop an MQR program to ensure the quality of the job/inspection is up to par with the requirements of the organization and to identify gaps in training that will then be used to adjust future training.

Primary Responsibilities
- Field Training
- Train new and existing inspectors on job/duty protocols
- Coordinate inspector training with Area Managers and Operations Support
- Communicate with Area Managers to set up training.
- Communicate with Operations Support to find training opportunities and locations.
- Sign off on trainees when training is complete.
- Maintain Knowledge Repository
- Document quality standards by company and market.
- Create SOP and Training documents by market.
- Ensures that annual training requirements are met.
- Develop reporting on knowledge base trends for future content development.
- Support peers with development and other duties as assigned.
- Customer Facing Responsibilities
- Attend necessary review meetings with Arcxis Area Managers and builders.
- Provide feedback on trends and data.
- Provide training as needed or requested by operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Internal Responsibilities
- Perform periodic MQR reviews on surveyor in person.
- Provide feedback to Area Managers on surveyor performance.
- Develop training specific content for Arcxis University.
- Other duties as assigned by leadership.
- Create and vet training for certifications, standards, EEP program requirements.
- Report findings to Training Department.
- Maintain Training up to date.
- Track new employee time/scores/completion.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- At least three (3) years or more industry specific experience.
- High School diploma required.
- Exceptional verbal and written skills.
- Able to work a flexible work schedule.
- Ability to travel 50-75%
