General Overview of Position :
Arcxis is seeking Mechanical designers and engineers with a wide range of experience who are skilled primarily in single-family detached Residential HVAC design and Engineering. This includes performing Manual J, S, D HVAC design, as well as designing duct layouts in AutoCAD by integrating with our in-house frame designs in accordance with ACCA and IRC standards. Mechanical Designers and Engineers collaborate and partner across all disciplines to ensure the highest level of cross-disciplined design integration for a one stop shop solution to our partners residential design needs.
Essential Functions of the Job :
- Job duties will be to produce Manual J, S, and D calculation and designs using Wrightsoft and final construction documents in AutoCAD
- Mechanical HVAC engineering and design of single- and multi-family, low- and high-rise residential HVAC systems
- Generate detailed mechanical design drawings in AutoCAD for construction documentation of mechanical systems for bidding and construction
- Prepare Construction Documents in AutoCAD
- Work with design staff and drafters to complete project Competencies :

Monday – Friday day shift, however additional hours, including weekend hours, may be required in accordance with changing business needs.
