Responsibilities:
- Create residential structural drawings (wood frame and/or related flooring designs)
- Coordinate with designers, engineers and clients to ensure the timely delivery of quality designs, blueprints, and construction documents
- Conduct reviews to ensure designs meet safety and building code requirements
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in structural design technology
Preferred:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a Structural Designer or similar role
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Familiarity with graphic design software
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Ability to perform structural analysis and calculations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Required: Ability to independently complete residential wood framing designs
- Preferred: Experience with residential wood flooring designs is a plus
