What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Health Aide - Hospice Care position at Arcy Hospice?
Arcy Hospice is a locally owned and operated hospice agency based in Flower Mound, TX. Our first priority is to our patients and their families. We will treat them the way that we want to be treated; with dignity, respect and compassion.
We are looking for FT Hospice Aide / Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) candidates to make patient visits in Cooke County area. Early morning availability preferred.
Requirements include:
* A desire to provide compassionate care.
* Current and valid CNA license.
* Hospice and/or home health care experience required.
* Ability to work in an interdisciplinary setting.
* Compliance with accepted professional standards and practices.
* Valid driver's license and automobile that is insured in accordance with state requirements and is in good working order for travel to and from patient locations.
* Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
* Satisfactory criminal background check.
* Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Dependable.
* Flexible and cooperative.
* Minimum age requirement of 18.
Bilingual candidates preferred.
