Position Summary : SVP Strategic Business Development maximizes return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and accurate reporting. Lead and manage multiple entities and departments of different levels; using strong leadership and team building.
Essential Functions:
- Business Development/Revenue Growth for the Investor Services division
- Prospective Client Engagement
- Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
- Proactively track the market to identify deals and opportunities after they ensue.
- Following industry trends and identifying potential new product lines.
- Increasing the value of current customers
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
- Brand ambassador to bring marketplace exposure to Westcor Specialty and its divisions, primarily Investor Services and the products/services that it offers
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated success establishing, leading and maintaining effective client relationships
- 5 years related experience to whole loans/structured products/real estate business development role
- Work under general supervision and the ability to self-motivate
- High-level communication skills
