Ardelyx is a publicly traded commercial biopharmaceutical company founded with a mission to discover, develop and commercialize innovative first-in-class medicines that meet significant unmet medical needs. Ardelyx has two commercial products approved in the United States, IBSRELA® (tenapanor) and XPHOZAH® (tenapanor). Ardelyx has agreements for the development and commercialization of tenapanor outside of the U.S. Kyowa Kirin commercializes PHOZEVEL® (tenapanor) for hyperphosphatemia in Japan. A New Drug Application for tenapanor for hyperphosphatemia has been approved in China with Fosun Pharma. Knight Therapeutics commercializes IBSRELA in Canada.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive engagement plan to connect with, educate, and build advocacy with the APP community
- Engage with national and regional APP associations – identifying and creating partnership opportunities and cultivating and maintaining relationships with leadership
- Develop creative broad-reach programs and initiatives for the APP community
- Work with the marketing department to create and implement innovative materials specific to the APP community (digital, print, etc.)
- Work collaboratively with Marketing to create future commercial speaker decks
- Help lead the development, content/creation and oversee deployment of APP advisory boards and other APP insight generation projects
- Identify thought-leading APPs and build advocacy through communication of on-label product information with approved resources
- Plan and execute strategic engagements with thought leading GIs/APPs at local, regional, and national conferences
- Balance customer-facing time and management of multiple APP specific projects
- Develop and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with a broad range of internal stakeholders (e.g. sales, market access, national accounts, medical affairs, regulatory, commercial operations) to ensure success of cross-functional initiatives and long-range plans
- Ability to educate and connect with the Gastroenterology APP community
- Partner on development of direct to patient initiatives
- Board certified APP in Gastroenterology with 6 years in practice or equivalent experience
- GI Motility background preferred
- Demonstrated ability to think outside the box
- Combination of strong strategic thinking with ability to execute tactical plans
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with significant autonomy
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-driven and highly motivated with strong organization and planning skills
- Ability to effectively and consistently execute multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to travel as required to meet business needs (~30%)
Salary : $168,000 - $206,000
