Position Title: Property Maintenance Specialist
Shift Hours: Staggered shifts (e.g., morning, afternoon, evening rotations)
Job Summary: The Property Maintenance Specialist is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the facility. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks, minor repairs, and ensuring a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors as needed.
- Empty trash and recycling bins, ensuring proper waste disposal.
- Perform minor repairs, such as fixing leaky faucets or replacing light bulbs.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs.
- Maintain outdoor areas, including snow removal, debris clearing, and landscaping.
- Restock cleaning supplies and maintain inventory.
- Operate cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and buffers.
- Follow safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report major maintenance issues to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in janitorial or maintenance work is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible, staggered shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
