Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery in our juicing facility. The role requires someone with a strong work ethic, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate juicing and bottling machines efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Monitor the production line to ensure that all equipment is running smoothly and safely.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to minimize equipment failure.
- Ensure all machines are cleaned and sanitized in compliance with company and health regulations.
- Conduct quality checks on product output, ensuring all juices meet Arden's Garden’s high standards.
- Assist with the setup and calibration of machines for various production runs.
- Track inventory of raw materials, ingredients, and finished products to ensure efficient production.
- Report any issues with machinery, production delays, or product defects to the supervisor.
- Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the team to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Must be bilingual (English and Spanish)
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a machine operator, preferably in a food or beverage production environment.
- Ability to understand and follow technical manuals and safety instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a production setting.
