For the Ardena Business Unit based in Somerset (US), we are looking for a Senior Specialist, Calibration.
What You Will Work On
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting on instruments including temperature, pressure, flow, analytical, and environmental monitoring devices.
- Ensure instrument accuracy, reliability, and proper functionality within GMP production and facility environments.
- Ensure calibration activities comply with GMP, FDA, USP, ISO 17025, and industry standards.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to calibration technicians and engineering team members.
- Conduct training sessions on calibration techniques, troubleshooting, and compliance requirements.
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent required with 10 years of relevant experience, preferably within a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.
- Associate’s degree or technical certificate in Instrumentation, Metrology, Engineering, or related field with 5 years’ experience in calibration, metrology, or instrumentation within a regulated industry (pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device) preferred.
- Hands-on experience with production and facility instrumentation, including temperature, pressure, flow, and analytical measurement devices.
- Experience with GMP practices and compliance is required.
- Must be able to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs.
