For the Ardena Business Unit based in Somerset (US), we are looking for a Formulation Development Technicians
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
YOUR ROLE
As a Formulation Development Technicians, you will be responsible for the development, optimization and execution of early-stage development batches manufacture in conjunction with Formulations Research & Development and Operations. These responsibilities include operating lab and pilot scale equipment focusing on Controlled Release and Hot Melt Extrusion technologies.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Machine, cleaning set-up and operation, understanding of all machine controls / functions, ability to troubleshoot, etc. the following technologies at scales from 0.5kg to 25.0kg : Fluid Bed Spraying and Granulation, Hot Melt Extrusion, Encapsulation and / or Compression, Pan Coating
- Cooperate seamlessly with FR&D Scientists and Group Managers
- Show proficiency in gowning and use of PPE as required including potent compounds
- Weigh and transfer materials using calibrated scales and balances
- Use various types of equipment to mix / combine materials for use in production
