POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager, Physician Compensation is responsible for managing centralized physician contract administration, ensuring document preparation and fulfillment of contract requirements are accurate, timely, and meet applicable regulations. Serves as a central point of contact for compensation contract-related questions. Works closely with staff in operational departments to ensure timely communication across the enterprise related to physician compensation efforts. Participates in the development and implementation of physician compensation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Works directly with Physician Recruitment, Corporate Legal, and Accounting in the preparation, presentation, and execution of physician contracts, ensuring all contract terms are consistent with Ardent's compensation plan guidelines.
- Reviews and uploads completed contracts to electronic contract system; maintains electronic database of all agreements and tracks critical dates for updates or renewals.
- Reviews requested modifications to existing contracts; liaises with operational departments to ensure timely communication on routine and ad hoc changes related to physician compensation.
- Validates the accuracy of the physician contract calculations to ensure accuracy and completeness of all contract terms and components.
- Monitors integrity of physician contract data in systems and makes corrections to data as necessary; reviews contract language with legal counsel as needed.
- Monitors and communicates dashboards related to physician productivity tracked against budget.
- Manages contracting projects, keeping abreast of statuses and next steps for all action items.
- Contributes to the development and deployment of policies and procedures related to physician compensation.
- Ensures high quality and high touch service to physicians by providing visual communication tools for education to understand their compensation, and timely research and resolution of pay issues.
