Trading Analyst
Your Responsibilities :
- Build out and keep updated SnDs across multiple agricultural commodity markets, both in the US and abroad
- Develop prediction price modeling as needed by the trading team
- Propose trade ideas based on the analysis done for the benefit of trading team.
- Liaison with the proper USDA counterparts regarding SnDs and crop forecasts
- Build out protein and yield prediction models for the team
- Keep up on news and trends as it relates to our markets and geopolitical events
- Track relevant trends in adjacent processing industries that will participate in protein & by product markets ethanol, renewable diesel, biodiesel, and SAF as examples.
- Maintain regional stocks in position info as it relates to the cash grain markets, looking for trends and trade ideas
- Build out demand estimates based on grain consuming animal units, cattle on feed reports, cattle and pig inventory reports, etc.
- Work with millfeed team to build & maintain a relative value tracker to include analysis against historical corn / sbm measures as well as competing non-grain feed ingredients (soy hulls, corn gluten feed, DDGS, cotton and rice by-products).
- Model global and domestic wheat feeding econs and its impact on price
- Maintain regional gross acreage profit calculation in order to understand acreage shifts across different grains
- Build internal export grids through industry contacts
- Build industry relationships to further Ardents information base

COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION : We provide market-driven base pay, based on skills, abilities, and level of experiences. Our salary ranges are broad, and individual salary will be market competitive based on a candidates unique set of skills and level of experience. The starting range for this position is $$86,200 - $$120,000, with additional earning potential possible commensurate with experience. Additionally, we believe that our team members are the reason for our success and all team members are incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and individual results achieved.
