ssembly Technician needed with heavy on soldering capabilities as well as assembly, less of the inspection piece (although there will be some). Anyone who has familiarity with tuning is also a huge plus. As part of our interview process there is a soldering test Assembly, inspection, and testing of electronic assemblies, as well as inspection and rework all surface mount assemblies
produced in accordance with IPC-610.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Performs any combination of following tasks to assemble electronic
components, subassemblies, products, or systems: Reads work orders,
follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal
instructions regarding duties to be performed.
- Performs intermediate assembly tasks, such as potting, encapsulating,
sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, and
color coding parts and assemblies.
- Performs on-line go-no-go testing and inspection, using magnifying devices,
measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment, to ensure parts and
assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
- Inspect products in real time to insure products are built to print and meet
IPC-610 workmanship standards.
- Able to perform basic soldering and rework of SMT components.
EQUIPMENT USED FOR JOBS:
- Tote bins, trays and carts
- Hand tools - screwdrivers, pliers, cutters, forming tools, soldering iron and etc.
- Solder pot and hot plate
- Engraver
- Water test tank
- Glue dispensing equipment
- Microscope
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
- Must be able to comprehend written and oral instructions.

EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
1 -2 years of Electronic assembly and Inspection experience is desired.
