Job Summary:
Client seeks a Consultant with expertise in software development and modelling to review, evaluate, and enhance the PACSM (Program for the Analysis of Climate, Streamflow, and Management). The Consultant will analyze the existing system, identify challenges, and recommend improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review PACSM technology, code, and compiler availability.
- Assess modelling methodologies and propose incremental improvements.
- Evaluate potential integration of parameter optimization tools.
- Coordinate with Denver Water staff and participate in regular project meetings.
- Deliver a final report summarizing findings, issues, and recommendations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with software development using FORTRAN, C#, C , and VBA.
- Strong background in system evaluation and modernization.
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
