Position Overview : Ardent Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Project Engineer to support the CAStLE program at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA). This position involves managing deliverables, preparing reports, overseeing contractual projects, and assisting with the scheduling and maintenance of Applied Mechanics Lab (AML) equipment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong engineering or scientific background combined with program / project management expertise.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Review of Deliverables :
- Conduct weekly reviews of contractor deliverables such as Contract Funds Status Reports (CFSRs), status reports, task schedules, and other task-specific deliverables.
- Assess deliverables for timeliness, quality, and completeness, and identify performance issues or areas for improvement.
- Provide weekly status updates to the CAStLE Director or Deputy Director, including annotations to invoicing spreadsheets and staff meeting notes.
