About the Role :
We are seeking a hands-on Application Architect with strong expertise in Snowflake and MS SQL Server to lead the design and development of modern, scalable application frameworks. This individual will be instrumental in replatforming legacy systems and implementing a microservices, API-driven architecture to support modularity and long-term scalability. The ideal candidate will combine strategic architectural vision with practical development skills and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently as well as part of a team and possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills. What You'll Do :
- Architecture Design : Design and implement modular, API-driven microservices architecture to enable system scalability and maintainability.
- Hands-On Development : Build and optimize applications, writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code in alignment with project goals and timelines.
- System Replatforming : Lead the replatforming of existing systems to modern frameworks, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption.
- Database Expertise : Utilize Snowflake and MS SQL Server for database architecture, query optimization, and performance tuning, ensuring robust data integrity.
- Stakeholder Communication : Effectively communicate with internal business stakeholders, ranging from end-users to senior management, ensuring clear understanding and expectation-setting.
- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to assess needs, propose solutions, and implement enhancements, while aligning with project goals and deadlines.
- Code Refactoring : Refactor and re-engineer legacy codebases for enhanced efficiency, simplicity, and performance.
- Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of junior developers by providing guidance, advice, and coaching, fostering their professional growth and enhancing team performance.
