About the Job : The Associate Furniture Repair Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and condition of furniture products by repairing items from incoming shipments and product returns. This position is instrumental in maintaining the integrity of merchandise to meet or exceed initial new standards, thereby supporting sales and customer satisfaction efforts.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Execute repairs and refurbishments on returned goods to restore them to their original "new" condition or as required for inventory standards.
- Assess damages on various material types' example wood, bamboo, rattan, leather, fabric, stone, metal, concrete, resin, and upholstery, determining the most suitable repair methods.
- Utilize a range of techniques such as fillers, burn-ins, color matching, structural repairs, and installation of replacement parts to achieve high-quality repairs.
- Maintain daily work goals and records to track productivity and ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to handle varying repair challenges and changing job requirements effectively.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and orderly to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and others.
