We are looking for a Sr. Manager – Data Services to provide day to day management for the data services organization and building the capabilities needed to effectively manage and continuously improve our data processing, as well as identifying and driving targeted performance tuning and optimization opportunities. Support includes, but is not limited to, design, implement and maintain data/process models and databases including access method analysis, access methods, performance, device allocation, data organization, protection and security and statistical methods including the development and monitoring of standards and procedures affecting models, database management, design and maintenance. This role will be the technology lead for data initiatives spanning across multiple internal departments and development partners. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter, with strong project management ability, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a friendly, team-oriented approach to provide a high level of customer service to all internal and external users.
Responsibilities
· Progressive track record leading change through a rapid period of transformation.
· Ability to make quick decisions through a combination of analysis, experience, and judgment.
· Effective operation in matrix environments to develop alignment and maximize collaboration in a successful manner
· Excellent critical thinking, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with senior levels of the organization.
· Leads a team responsible for services that support infrastructure, software, websites and other enterprise applications.
· Leading the delivery of scalable data and analytics solutions
· Design and build reusable components, frameworks and libraries at scale to support analytics data products
· Help to lead, inspire, coach and develop a team of engineers
· Partner with managers and analytics leaders to help prioritize and accomplish work.
· Leading discussions to scale out data architecture to process data sets, and solve various data challenges.
· Partner with other technology teams, strategizing together to drive technical roadmaps and use standards and platforms.
Requirements
· A degree in computer science, MIS, or related qualification or experience.
· Strong skills as a leader and building positive relationships across IT and the enterprise.
· 5 years’ experience leading teams around data initiatives.
· 5 years’ experience developing reporting and analytics solutions enterprise wide.
· Strong attention to detail
· 5 years’ experience with Snowflake (ideally on Azure)
· 5 years’ experience with PowerBI
· 1-2 years’ experience with Fivetran
· 1 year experience with dbt
· An analytical mind with excellent problem solving skills, with an ability to think outside the box when necessary.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Fantastic time management skills with the ability to multi-task

Compensation
Starting base pay: $130,000 – $150,000 annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
