What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAD Technician position at Ardurra Group, Inc.?
Ardurra is seeking an entry level CAD Technician to join our team in our Orlando, FL or St Augustine, FL location!
Primary Function:
Under close supervision, performs routine drafting assignments which require knowledge and skill in basic drafting techniques and procedures. Assignments are designed to further develop the incumbent’s job knowledge and abilities.
Primary Duties:
- Prepares simple engineering and construction drawings from sketches or verbal instructions, utilizing manual or computer-assisted drafting/design techniques.
- Prepares drawings from markups, charts, and tables.
- Performs related fundamental engineering support tasks such as updating computer lists, filing prints, distributing drawings, making simple calculations, proofreading reports, etc.
- May utilize information from vendor prints, catalogs, technical manuals, etc.
- Supports field assignments as required.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Associates degree or high school graduate with vo-tech training in basic drafting technology (or equivalent working knowledge/experience).
- This includes a working knowledge of fundamental CADD/drafting software.
