Area 2 Farms in Arlington, VA, seeks a "Market Manager" to join our team.
This is a unique opportunity to get your hands dirty and be the face of Area 2 Farms within our local community. You will be able to learn about every aspect of organic farming and be an agent of change for your neighbors.
Responsibilities:
- You will get a chance to join a team that produces fresh food for your community. This is a hands-on role where you will represent and promote Area 2 Farms at farmers' markets and other community engagement events.
- This is a part-time position (average 30 hours per week) with a rotating shift schedule that requires consistently high productivity levels and operating with a sense of urgency, efficiency, and effectiveness over an extended period.
Benefits:
- You will be eligible for a pay increase every 1040 hours or six (6) months.
- You will earn vacation days.
- Weekend shifts include an extra $1 per hour.
- You will receive an Area 2 Farms harvest weekly.
