JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Project Manager (SPM) leads the full range of client deliverables and is accountable for assigned brand(s) from project planning to final delivery with regard to timing, quality, and budget. The SPM is a creative problem solver whose production expertise allows them to drive complex development efforts for multichannel tactics. The SPM collaborates cross-functionally with agency departments including Account Management, Finance, Production, Creative, Editorial, Technology, Strategy, among others. Whether it’s advising on the feasibility of creative concepts, planning resource assignments, workload phasing, ensuring priorities are managed to align with account, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing solutions ahead of time, the only thing certain is that no one day is ever the same.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Project Management: Owns and drives agency and department processes, procedures, and workflows for assigned brand(s) and workstreams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drives cross-functional team by steering collaborative problem solving, communicating overall status, and providing oversight of workstream health and change management as needed.
- Administration: Maintains timely, detail-oriented, and accurate approach to administrative tasks.
JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Management:
- Owns and independently manages multichannel project deliverables from concept to deployment providing direction and vision as needed.
- Independently owns a brand vertical and partners with other project management leads to ensure consistency and quality across brand.
- Actively engages with Associate Project Managers and Project Coordinators on day-to-day project challenges, solutions, creative and strategic thinking, and overall support.
- Speaks to pertinent information for internal status meetings to provide updates or changes in project plans.
- Ensures accuracy, efficiency and timeliness of routing, quality control, project preparation, and execution of deliverables.
- Responsible for impact analysis for scope changes on assigned brand(s) and brand vertical projects leading to collaborate with Account team to determine next steps.
- Manages 3rd party vendor and client digital team relationships, collaborating on timelines, and identifying challenges and risks to keep on schedule.
- Proactively escalates and suggests solutions to project-related issues to management.
- Partners with Supervisor/Associate Director on scope of work (SOW) development with eye to brand portfolio SOW.
- Reviews financial output reports, incoming briefs, and timelines/estimates.
- Follows and enforces internal procedures and IPGH internal tools (WorkFront, Egnyte, and Teams) for project management.
- Participates in discussions related to process optimization.
- Can be client-facing as a content matter expert around timing and estimates to answer project questions that may arise.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Maintains relationships with different agency departments including Editorial, Account, Finance, and Creative.
- Responsible for informing team members regarding the start of new projects, upcoming deadlines, quality control, revisions, next steps.
- Proactively approaches supervisor with new ideas and suggestions for personal career growth and team efficiencies.
- May participate in new business pitches as needed.
- Trains, mentors, and provides direction to junior team members.
- Solves project or client challenges in tight collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Creates brand Gantt chart in partnership with account.
- Participates in finance meetings by attending, contributing, and monitoring financial health of vertical in collaboration with Account. Administration
- Keeps accurate, organized files of projects past and present as per agency established protocols.
- Demonstrates detail-oriented and organized approach to daily responsibilities.
- Completes timesheets, expenses, and all other administrative duties accurately and on a timely basis.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) or equivalent platform
- Proficient with Adobe Acrobat
- Strong knowledge of project management tools (Microsoft Project, Workfront, or equivalent) required.
- Basic knowledge of financial management tools (e.g., SAP or equivalent) required.
- Multichannel production knowledge across print, video, and digital (websites, IVAs, emails, banners, and congress panels).
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. · Financial aptitude. · Strong experience with campaign launch process highly preferred.

SALARY
- 90,000 to 103,500
