The Role
As the VP, Medical Strategy Director, you will assume a pivotal role in understanding the scientific and clinical aspects of our business deeply. You will serve as a strategic anchor for both internal teams and clients, leveraging science to differentiate brands effectively. Collaborating closely with account and medical services colleagues, you will ensure scientific and clinical relevance throughout strategic and creative developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Critically review agency-generated content, ensuring alignment with scientific perspectives and brand objectives.
- Proactively provide strategic medical recommendations based on evolving market trends to enhance brand communications.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our capabilities and competitive landscape, staying updated on industry trends.
- Identify and capitalize on medical opportunities that contribute to strategic and tactical development.
- Ensure optimal use of data to craft compelling and differentiating brand stories.
- Drive research and development efforts for new business pitches, contributing to strategic recommendations and the medical portion of pitch presentations.
- Mentor and supervise a team of AMDs, MDs, and SMDs, fostering their growth and development.
- Project confidence and expertise in therapeutic categories, effectively communicating medical concepts to clients, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and agency teams.

Salary $200,000 - $220,000
