Duties
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, enhancing the shopping experience.
- Assist customers with selecting products and making informed purchasing decisions.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area while ensuring all merchandise is properly displayed.
- Support retail sales efforts by promoting special offers and upselling products when appropriate.
- Supervise junior staff as needed, providing guidance and support during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous experience in a cashier or retail sales role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and basic math skills for handling transactions.
