What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Manager position at Area Agency on Aging of Western Michigan, Inc.?
IT Manager: Responsible for the overall performance of the agency information systems. Expertise in computer operating systems, network and server security, HIPAA security, and Microsoft suite applications is necessary. This position is responsible for supervising and overseeing the direct work of the IT Specialists and Database Administrator. Candidate should be self-directed with strong organizational skills, and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
Qualifications required include; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with a minimum of 5 years of computer experience and 2 years of supervisory experience. A broad working knowledge of network and server security procedures and programming. Must have experience with installation, maintenance and technical support of software and hardware applications. Preferred qualifications include; Microsoft certification, Salesforce insight, and a candidate that is familiar databases, on multiple platforms.
This is a Full time 40-hour position, with a combination of in office days and up to two days per week remote work for the right candidate. Flexible work schedule, with no holidays or weekends required! The starting salary range is $72,000 to $75,000 dependent upon experience.
