About Us:
Area Agency on Aging, Region 9, (AAA9) is a private non-profit corporation located, organized and designated by the State of Ohio to be the planning, coordinating and administrative agency for federal and state aging and disability programs, as well as, the Specialized Recovery Services Program, in Muskingum, Guernsey, Carroll, Coshocton, Jefferson, Belmont, Holmes, Tuscarawas, Harrison in addition to Monroe, Morgan, Perry, Noble and Washington. The network works together to create opportunities for Ohioans to receive needed linkage, referrals and community services and supports to remain successful and age in their own homes and communities.
Position(s) Overview: The goal of the Specialized Recovery Services Program is to assess, arrange, coordinate, monitor, evaluate, educate, and advocate for a package of multiple services to meet the consumer’s needs in the community. This may include assisting in setting up state plan services, transportation, assisting in completing Medicaid reapplications, ensuring Individuals are following up with their behavioral health, other health providers or specialty physicians and coordination of ongoing care.

Job Requirements:
· Applicants must have at least one year post degree experience with individuals with diagnosed chronic conditions and/or 3 years post degree experience with individuals with severe persistent mental illnesses.
· Driver’s License (required) – Travel is a requirement of this position.

Starting salary $55,770 with salary increases every year for the first 4 years.

Work Location: On site with opportunity to be remote after 6 months training/mentoring period.
