We are a local home builder with an excellent reputation for quality and elevated design, and we are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards. This role requires effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Duties
- Oversee active construction projects and construction personnel, advise on upcoming construction projects.
- Develop project timelines and ensure adherence to schedules through effective time management.
- Oversee warranty efforts.
- Review and interpret blueprints, and project specifications to guide work processes.
- Coordinate project management activities using home building software.
- Facilitate communication to ensure alignment on objectives and closing dates.
- Work in a collaborative, mentoring fashion to get the most from all team members.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce safety regulations.
- Adhere to budgets; maintain control of job site and costs.
- Provide guidance on construction best practices to team members.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field is essential.
- Proficiency in project coordination with a strong understanding of blueprint reading.
- Familiarity with construction software tools is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances on-site.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and clear communication.
