A manufacturing company is offering an immediate position for a Chip Spinner / Cleaner who will have a variety of daily responsibilities including operating equipment, providing chip removal from production machines, following specific detailed instructions, and working in a safety-oriented manner. W ork hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 : 30 p.m.
Job Duties :
- Collect chips from production machine and place in wheel barrel
- Dump full wheel barrel of chips (steel, stainless, brass or aluminum) into centrifuge container and spin chips to remove oil
- Dump chips into their respective conveyor; Steel chips into steel conveyor, stainless chips into stainless conveyor, etc.
- Clean all shop floors using the Advance Walk floor scrubber and empty waste receptacles in the plant area
- Remove garbage from the exterior of the building including parking lots
- Complete the daily chip spinner task sheet on a daily basis
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications :
