Project Manager β Commercial & Institutional Construction
Location : Southern California
Salary : $140,000 - $180,000 Benefits & Bonus
About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established construction firm specializing in ground-up commercial, institutional, and seismic / structural projects . This is an opportunity to be an integral part of a company where you can wear multiple hats, influence senior leadership, and directly impact project success .
As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in client interfacing, financial oversight, and team leadership while ensuring projects meet expectations on time and within budget. This role requires a candidate with strong commercial construction experience, particularly in ground-up builds, as tenant improvement (TI) experience alone will not suffice.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee ground-up commercial construction projects, including institutional, religious, office, studio, and lab projects .
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external clients, and stakeholders.
- Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and financial forecasting for projects averaging $10M-$20M .
- Ensure project execution aligns with company standards, safety regulations, and structural / seismic requirements.
- Collaborate with Senior Management, Lead Estimators, and other Project Managers to drive efficiency and ensure alignment on project goals.
- Navigate and resolve team dynamics, motivate teams , and foster a strong company culture.
- Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring high levels of communication and expectation management.
