Scrum Master

We are looking for highly energetic, TS-SCI cleared, IT professionals
who are interested in joining our seasoned team of technologists. We are
focused on driving significant enhancements in the efficiency and
effectiveness of enterprise-wide IT operations and performing routine
O&M for an IC agency. The program itself supports a broad range of IT
enterprise services for end-users around the globe, with smaller project
teams that focus on particular areas (i.e. Platform as a Service,
Application Services, Cloud Computing, High Performance Computing, API
Management, etc.). We are looking for hands-on professionals, team
players, and engaged individuals who enjoy keeping up with the latest
tech stacks and technology trends. We have positions open at all levels
and in multiple geographies.

The SCRUM Master is responsible for the following:

- Guide scrum-team through all sprints of a program increment,
removing impediments and championing the team

- Organize and facilitate sprint planning and release planning, daily
stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other agile related
events

- Track and communicate team metrics and sprint/release progress to
all teams and management

- Assist the scrum team in developing and estimating user stories that
are clearly articulated with well-defined acceptance criteria

- Update agile tracking systems to provide transparency on product and
sprint backlogs

- Assist with internal and external communication

- Assist product owners with backlog grooming

- Assist team with making appropriate commitments through story
selection and task definition

- Determine and remove impediments that interfere with the ability of
the teams to deliver assigned goals

- Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution

- Promote continuous improvement and help teams to increase velocity

- Promote a collaborative team environment that fosters
experimentation, creativity and innovation

Required Skills:

- Experience leading Agile Scrum teams in a cloud environment

- Strong understanding of DevSecOps and /or software/application
development processes

- Advanced knowledge of systems engineering principles, methods, and
techniques

- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

- Experience with Atlassian Agile Products; specifically JIRA and
Confluence

- Active TS/SCI clearance required to start and must be able to obtain
a CI Poly
